COVID-19: Guides for Reopening Responsibly

Your safety is our priority.

In order to ensure the safety of our patients and staff, we are implementing the following procedures as we begin to reopen.

    • Intake questions: Before scheduling an appointment, you will be asked these questions:
      • Have you had any exposure or been in contact with someone with Covid-19 in the last 2 weeks?
      • Have you traveled out of the state in the last two weeks?
      • Have you experienced any of the following symptoms? Fever, shortness of breath, cough, sore throat, muscle/body aches or headaches, new loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea?
    • All patients will be required to wear a face mask when inside the office. Please bring your own mask.
    • We recommend that all patients come alone or ask that all companions will remain outside the office, if at all possible (except in the case of minors/dependents)
    • Patients must fill out the online paperwork and upload insurance and driver’s license on our website.
    • Patients are to call/text when they are here.
    • Upon entering, the patient will be given hand sanitizer to use and their temperature will be taken with an infrared thermometer.
    • There is a designated area where patients can take off their masks and try frames on.
    • Although, cleanliness has always been a practice at our office, all exam equipment will be disinfected after each patient following CDC’s additional guidelines.
    • Exams will be scheduled every 30 minutes to ensure proper social distancing.
    • Exams will be done with the door open to maintain proper air circulation.
    • All staff will be washing their hands before and after any contact with patient and wearing masks.
    • Staff and doctors will be screened daily to ensure proper health.
    • All glasses adjustments, pickups or ordering will be a scheduled appointment. All contacts will be shipped if possible.

Thank you in advance for working with us to ensure safety is a priority!
